Arroyo Gardens is an 88 Unit facility. It consists of a total of (60) beds for Assisted Living and (28 beds) for Dementia. It is located adjacent to the Santa Rita Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Green Valley, Arizona.

The Santa Rita Skilled Nursing Facility is located in Green Valley Arizona. The facility was outdated and did not meet recent codes and guidelines. The Scope of the project was to expand the facility, renovate all existing 115 beds, to eliminate the 3-bed wards replacing them with one and two bed ward scenarios and adding a much needed generator. The scope also included moving utility lines and structural evaluations of the existing building.

The Design and Planning of this project for Native American Connections (NAC) was to provide a Wellness Center and Group Home for Native Americans seeking treatment for dependency issues. Based on client and user input the project was broken into six areas including: Public, Shared, Living, Admin, Service and Outdoor. Each of these areas were designed to meet the needs of the staff and residents.

The Planning and Concepts project previously completed by SRa for the Winslow Indian Health Care Corporation included locating this new medical office building with future development of the campus in mind.
